Alex Pike, manager of Vanarama National League South club Gosport Borough, has swooped for AFC Portchester striker Jason Parish as his summer recruitment drive continues.
Parish was one of the leading goalscorers in the Sydenhams Football League (Wessex) Premier Division last term, banging in 27 goals for Graham Rix’s Royals.
He also produced an excellent performance against Gosport in the recent Russell Cotes Cup Final, which Boro won 2-1.
With Chris Flood and Warren Bentley already having signed, Pike now has some excellent attacking options at his disposal and competition for places is sure to be fierce.
Like Flood and Bentley, Parish penned a two-year deal at the Aerial Direct Stadium.
