Having completed the loan signing of Mansfield Town midfielder Jack Thomas, Boston United have also added defender Liam Wakefield, who had been a free agent.
The 23-year-old former Doncaster Rovers, Accrington Stanley and Morecambe player, with 34 Football League appearances to his name, is available to the Vanarama National League North club with immediate effect.
