Boston United have signed vastly experienced forward Karl Hawley.
Hawley arrives at the Jakemans Stadium having been employed by current Pilgrims boss Adam Murray as his first-team coach at League Two Mansfield Town last summer.
Hawley, 35, made ninety-eight appearances during a three-year spell with Notts County, scoring 9 goals and helping them win the League Two title in 2012.
His playing career also included spells at Preston North End, Scunthorpe United, Torquay United, Carlisle United – where he won two promotions – and Boston`s league rivals Alfreton Town.
In the summer of 2015 Hawley signed for Stourbridge, and after a successful spell with the Glassboys, he left at the end of the season to join Murray, then in charge at Mansfield.
