Workington have conceded their play-off hopes are over for this year, but Reds joint boss Lee Andrews insists there is still pride to play for.
A 2-1 home defeat by Farsley Celtic on Tuesday night effectively ended any prospect of a late charge for a fourth successive play-off place.
“We knew this was a must-win game so to lose has left the dressing room very flat,” said Andrews. “But I have told the lads we have six games left and there’s pride at stake to finish as high as we possibly can.
“It’s still been a good season. We had that long, unbeaten run and almost reached the quarter-finals of the FA Trophy.
