Pontefract Collieries have appointed Craig Rouse as their new manager.
Rouse succeeds former Rotherham United and Hartlepool United player Andy Monkhouse, who left the club earlier this month.
The former striker returns to a club he has enjoyed considerable success with, also going on to work as assistant manager.
Ex-chairman Mark Harling, who recently returned to the club as a director, told the club’s website:
“We’re all buzzing to get this sorted. When I came back on board myself, Trevor and Tom sat down and discussed a plan for the future.
“We feel that this is a massive plus for the club and will no doubt see us move forward again as a club. Craig knows the club inside out and he’s the perfect man for the job!”
