Vanarama National league South new boys Poole Town have signed former Gosport Borough striker Lee Wort.
Wort had a prolific record during his time with Sholing in both the Sydenhams Football League (Wessex) and Southern League.
He trialled with League Two Accrington Stanley in July 2014 and subsequently signed for Gosport on the back of netting more than 50 times as Sholing won the Wessex League title and the FA Vase at Wembley.
Wort scored two goals in seven Southern League Premier Division appearances during two months on loan at Poole last season and he ended the campaign back at the club where he made his name, Sholing.
He becomes manager Tom Killick’s first signing since Poole won promotion as Southern League champions.
