Poole Town have announced the appointment of Alex Pike as Commercial Manager.

Pike was a successful manager at Wimborne Town, where he won the FA Vase. Latterly, Pike took Gosport Borough from the Wessex League to Conference South/National League South and to the FA Trophy final in 2016.

He was also instrumental in securing major sponsorship for Gosport Borough during his time as manager.

Despite his record in football, Pike will concentrate solely on the commercial role at Poole Town.

Current Poole Town manager Tom Killick was a significant part of the Wimborne Town 1992 FA Vase-winning team, scoring the two Wimborne goals.

Chairman Chris Reeves said

“I regard this as a stellar appointment for the club and the whole board are eagerly looking forward to working with Alex for the greater good of Poole Town FC. I have consulted throughout with Tom in the process leading up to Alex’s appointment and can reassure fans that Tom is as delighted as I am that Alex has joined us.”
