Poole Town club captain Jamie Whisken has signed a contract to play for the Club for the 2017/2018 Vanarama National League South Season.
Jamie was one of a group of players that moved west to Poole Town from AFC Totton in the summer of 2013. His main position is in central defence but he can also play along the back four, he is just as comfortable going forward as he is in defence.
He started his career at AFC Bournemouth, and also played for Basingstoke Town, Bognor Regis and Farnborough Town before moving to Poole. Jamie was appointed as captain of the side during the 2013/14 season. In 2016/2017, Whiskin led the side to 5 place in the first season as a Step 2 Club.
