Chester FC have announced the loan signing of goalkeeper Sam Hornby from League Two side Port Vale.
Hornby has made five appearances for the Valiants this season, having arrived in June from Burton Albion. As the 22-year-old arrives, they say goodbye to fellow goalkeepers Conor Mitchell and Nathan Vaughan.
Mitchell joined on loan from Burnley on the day of their opening league fixture against Fylde and went on to make eight appearances. Vaughan leaves the club without making an appearance at the Swansway.
