Having released Lee Chappell, Sam Corcoran and Ben Martin yesterday, St Albans City have brought in defender Lewis Freestone on loan for the rest of the season.

The 17-year-old is a highly-rated left-back.

He signed a three-year contract with Sky Bet League One side Peterborough United in the summer of 2016 having impressed during pre-season.

He was sent out on loan to Evo-Stik League Southern Premier Division strugglers Cambridge City in December and made five appearances before returning to Posh.
