Tony Zeverona has stepped down as the chairman of EVO-STIK League Prescot Cables after more than a decade at the helm.
Zeverona, who took over as chairman in 2005, stood down at the promotion-chasers on Tuesday.
Officials at Volair Park paid tribute to Zeverona in a club statement announcing his departure and the start of their hunt to recruit his successor with Cables flying high this season and boosted financially by the arrival of Skelmerdale United as groundshare tenants.
