Lancaster City have signed Preston North End’s Jacob Holland-Wilkinson on loan.

A 17-year-old striker, Holland-Wilkinson arrives at The Dolly Blues on a youth loan deal.

He has been with North End’s academy set-up since Under-14 level.

Lancaster City boss Mark Fell told the club’s website: “He’s got great enthusiasm for the game. We’ve seen him a few times and he’s very sharp; the sort of dynamic forward we’re missing with Rhys Turner injured.

“It’s great exposure for him to a strong level of football, and if it helps his development, whilst improving us, then it’s a perfect solution for all parties.”
