Alex Finney could be back for more after ending his season at Maidstone with two awards.
Defender Finney was named supporters’ player of the year and also shared the manager’s prize with Stuart Lewis. He’s set to explore his options with no deal currently on the table back at parent club QPR.
The 21-year-old has ambitions to play in the Football League but knows another year at the Gallagher would do him no harm.
Finney said: “I’ve got to speak with my representatives and my family as well. It’s a big decision. I need to shut down for a couple of days and then weigh up my options.
“I feel like it’s been a long season and I need to chill for a second. I have had a chat with QPR and there wasn’t anything concrete on the table so my presumption is I’m not going to get another contract there.
“It’s not set in stone yet so it’s a conversation I need to have.”
