Vanarama National League North club Darlington have made striker Nathan Cartman available for loan.
The Quakers kicked off their season with an impressive 2-0 away win at much-fancied Salford City on Saturday, but Cartman was not named in the matchday squad.
Manager Martin Gray chose to start with summer signing James Caton and last season’s top scorer Mark Beck as his first choice strike pairing, with youngster Harvey Saunders and new boy Scott Fenwick named as substitutes.
Cartman joined Darlington from Harrogate RA in January 2015 and helped the club to promotion from the Evo-Stik NPL First Division North within four months.
In 2015/16 he ended the season as the Quakers top goalscorer, helping them to another promotion into the National League North.
Last season he scored seven goals, including the goal of the season winner against Tamworth.
