Vanarama National League North club Curzon Ashton signed defender or midfielder Daniel Racchi in time for him to start the Tameside derby with neighbours Ashton United on Boxing Day.
Racchi came through the ranks at Huddersfield Town having joined the club at the age of eight.
He went on to sign his first professional contract with the Terriers in the summer of 2006 and made his senior debut for the club in March 2007.
After a handful of first-team appearances, he was released and joined Bury, whom he helped to reach the play-offs.
A non-contract spell with Wrexham was followed by a move to York City, but having failed to establish himself, he decided to leave the club in April 2011 and headed north of the border to Kilmarnock.
Appearing in the Scottish Premier League, he did well until injury halted his progress.
His next move took him to Iceland with Valur before he finally returned to these shores at the turn of 2015 with Hyde United before linking up with his home-town club, FC Halifax Town earlier this term.
He then had a spell with National League North side Tamworth before arriving at Torquay United in February 2016.
He helped the Gulls avoid relegation before being released and took time out to star a new career as a hairdresser before signing for FC United of Manchester last year.
