Derby County forward Shaquille McDonald has extended his youth loan deal at FC Halifax Town by a further month.
The 20-year-old, who is part of Derby’s Under 21 squad, joined the National League side on a month-long loan at the end of November.
McDonald made one competitive appearance during his initial month with the Shaymen – while he also scored in their 5-0 FA Trophy victory over Tamworth.
Halifax currently sit 22nd in the National League but a good run of form in recent weeks has hauled them to within a point of safety.
McDonald will now remain with FC Halifax up to and including Monday 1st February 2016.
Keeper Sam Johnson has also extended his loan deal with the Shaymen until 30th January subject to the necessary paperwork being completed.
He joined from Port Vale in December on a loan spell and has impressed so far between the sticks.
