Evo-Stik Premier Division side Ramsbottom United’s manager Garry Vaughan continues to look to strengthen his side in an attempt to move away from the relegation places, with a new attacking duo joining the club.

Prolific goalscorer Steve Foster moves in from near neighbours Radcliffe Borough. The 34 year old has had plenty of experience at non-league level having previously played for Witton Albion, AFC Telford United, Fleetwood Town, Hyde United and Stalybridge Celtic, and comes with the promise of adding to the Rams goal tally.

Joining him up front is 27 year old Ashley Stott.

He arrives from Trafford having played for Bangor City, Halifax Town, Northwich Victoria, Witton Albion and Rhyl.

The duo impressed on their debut in the recent 1-1 draw against second placed Workington, and Vaughan hopes that their arrival will give all at the club a boost.

Leaving the club are striker Michael Oates, due to work commitments, and defender Prince Haywood.
