Ramsbottom United have signed TNS (The New Saints) player Josh Hmami on loan.
The Rochdale-based 19-year-old midfield player began his career as a youngster with Bolton Wanderers’ academy before spending a season with the Barnsley U16 squad.
A two-year scholarship with Accrington Stanley followed and he became captain of Stanley’s U18s. Whilst training regularly with the first team at the Crown Ground, he made his senior debut for the Reds on 30th December against Grimsby Town in League Two.
He also scored the winning goal in Stanley’s 1-0 victory over Rochdale in the FA Youth Cup.
He was snapped up by Welsh Premier League champions TNS and is a member of their first-team squad.
He joins the Rams on loan to further his career and gain more match time, and manager Chris Willcock is delighted to have the youngster for at least the first half of the season.
