After a tough start, Tommy Brookbanks has bolstered his Coalville Town squad in the form of versatile full back/midfielder Cleveland Taylor.
Taylor played professionally from 2000 to 2013 with some big named clubs such as Scunthorpe, Carlisle, Brentford & Burton Albion.
He then came into the non league game with Harrogate making 42 apperences during the 13/14 season scoring 4 goals to go with it.
Last season he started with Corby Town before moving to Barwell where he was very highly thought after a spell of strong performances.
This caught the eye of play-off chasing Matlock who signed him and he actually played 90 minuets against Coalville during the 0-0 draw in derbyshire back in March.
Unfortunately he has found himself on the fringes after a holiday away during pre-season and is looking forward to regular action in the black and white shirt.
The new man goes straight into tonights squad to face Grantham.
