Eastleigh have parted company with one of their longest-serving players, Jai Reason, who has signed for league rivals Boreham Wood.
Reason was an integral part of the Spitfires` Conference South title-winning team and has been a superb servant to the club, having made over 250 first-team appearances.
Club chairman Stewart Donald said: “I remember when Jai signed for the club and his first day of pre-season training. We had managed to sign him from Braintree Town and it was a real coup for us.
“I knew we had signed a super player and thought he would be a terrific signing for us. I was right and Jai has been absolutely fantastic for us. He is super lad and has always been a real pleasure to have around the place.
“It is now a new chapter for him and us and I wish him every success at Boreham Wood. He is joining a very well run club with lots of ambition and I am sure he will do well”.
