Redditch United has unveiled an innovative new scheme to aid the development of its academy players.

The Reds have set up an elite player pathway programme to create a defined route for male and female home-grown talent – helping their educational and footballing needs.

The players will enhance their footballing skills and talent by playing at The TRICO Stadium, home of Redditch United, as well as being guided by UEFA-licenced coaches, who will deliver six hours of football coaching per week. Off the pitch, the player pathway also offers full-time schooling for players over 18, as well as the chance to earn nationally-recognised college and university level courses.

For those that have a desire to work in football, students can enrol on FA-officiated coaching courses and other BTEC programmes.
