Hednesford Town have announced that two more players have joined the Pitmen squad ahead of their opening pre-season friendly at Heath Hayes on Saturday.
Izak Reid has signed after impressing in pre-season training. Vastly experienced Reid was with Hednesford towards the end of last season and has previously played for Chasetown, Stafford Rangers, AFC Telford, Morecambe and Macclesfield Town.
He is joined by midfielder Liam Truslove, a former Birmingham City academy player who has arrived at Keys Park from Kidderminster Harriers. Truslove has also represented Rushall Olympic during a loan spell last season.
Manager Gary Hayward had this to say: “Izak is a very quick frontman with great experience; he’s come back in great shape, looking very sharp and looks like he has got a point to prove. I hope he does really well for the team.
“Liam is a great attacking midfielder with an eye for goal, he had a few injuries last year and is another to come to Hednesford with something to prove.”
