Tyler Reid says he is ready, willing and able to help Wrexham move away from their National League relegation mire after signing a one-month extension to his loan.

The 22-year-old right-back has endured a tough stint to his loan spell at Wrexham, suffering a quad injury in his debut against Yeovil Town, before lasting 70 minutes in the Dragon’s FA Trophy defeat at FC Halifax Town last weekend.

Dragons boss Dean Keates has extended the Swindon Town defender’s loan spell for another month, ensuring he is available to feature in their next five games – his final match will be Woking at home on Saturday, January 18.

Reid was adamant he was ready to help the Dragons’ cause if called upon, saying: “If I am called upon, I am always ready.

“I think Saturday was a bad reflection of how we have been playing recently, because we’ve been playing good football and got some good results.”
