Maidstone United have made their first close-season signings, with Scott Rendell and Joe Ellul joining.
Former Cambridge United and Wycombe Wanderers forward Rendell arrives after a spell at Eastleigh.
He told the club’s website: “I am delighted to sign for the Stones. I’ve worked with the gaffer before and am excited to do so again.
“It’s going to be a challenge for every club next season but I can’t wait for it to start and do some positive stuff out on the pitch. I’ve played here before and know how good the atmosphere can be.”
Central defender Ellul joins after a spell with Maidenhead United. The 31-year-old told the club’s website:
“I am really looking forward to this opportunity. I’ve got family who live nearby, so I was aware of the club and its past.
“At this stage of my career, I really want to put down some roots and be part of building something special. I’ve met some of the people today, seen the set-up and this feels so right.”
