Tranmere Rovers midfielder Jay Harris is looking forward to an important game at Prenton Park on Saturday afternoon as Rovers host Wrexham.
Harris swapped the Racecourse Ground for Prenton Park last summer and signed a
contract extension at the Club last week to prolong his stay until 2017-18.
The midfielder is excited by the prospect of an important run-in to the season with Rovers still sat in the play-off positions looking for promotion back into the Football League.
He told Tranmere Player: “It’s in our hands now, it relies on us to win our three games now.
“It’s all about results now. I’d rather take a scrappy 1-0 than have a good performance and draw or get beat.
“It’s a game against my old club but I’m at Tranmere now and I have one ambition which is to get promoted. So whichever team is in front us, I want three points.
“This game on Saturday is the most important because if we don’t get a result, we make our job a lot harder. So whether it be against Wrexham or whoever, the next match is very important.”
