Dorchester Town midfielder Ollie Griggs is “hungry” to prove himself in a Magpies shirt, according to boss Leigh Robinson.
Griggs returned to the Clayson Stadium for a second spell this season, making his comeback in the 1-0 win over Wimborne Town.
Having left the club in February 2019, Griggs admitted he was “upset” by his departure.
However, new manager Robinson has brought the energetic midfielder back into his squad from Winchester City as the Magpies look for more “dynamic” performances.
Speaking to Echosport, the former Taunton and Truro boss hailed Griggs’ display against Dorchester’s Dorset rivals.
He said: “He did well. We were disappointed we couldn’t get him out there (against Yate), obviously the game was called off.
“He fits everything we’re trying to change here. He’s a young lad, fresh, can get around the pitch and has got good quality.”
