Following the dismissal of manager Dave Botham at the weekend, Barton Town have moved swiftly to appoint Dave Ricardo as his replacement.
The Northern Counties East League outfit were beaten 2-1 at home to Clipstone in the second qualifying round of the FA Vase, instigating the end of Botham’s tenure. New manager Ricardo has now been appointed alongside assistant Gary Allanson.
