Ricky Miller has returned to playing with Aldershot Town.
The striker’s sensational spell at Dover Athletic in the National League earned him a move to Peterborough United on a three-year deal back in May 2017.
After time at Mansfield Town (loan) and Port Vale, the 31-year-old left the latter in June 2019.
He now returns to playing with Danny Searle’s Aldershot, and having come on for his debut on Saturday, he was credited with the crucial goal in the 1-0 win at Woking.
On joining the Shots, Miller told the club’s website: “I’ve got a point to prove that I’m still capable of what I’ve done.
“I feel fitter than I did at Dover and I’ve come a long way since then as well, so I’m hoping I can pick up where I left off.”
