Vanarama National League club Forest Green Rovers have completed the signing of French midfielder Florien Robert.
Robert began his career with French club Lorient, spending eight years with the club.
In that time he spent a spell with Doncaster Rovers during the 2012/13 season, appearing thirteen times and scoring twice.
On his return to Lorient he made just over fifth apperances in Ligue 1 but was soon to return to England.
Last season he spent time on trial with Swindon Town and impressed the club enough to earn a contract.
After making thirty eight appearances for the Robins he was allowed to leave the club and has spent time on trial with Coventry City during pre-season.
However, Robert, brother of former Newcastle United and Portsmouth star Laurent, has agreed to join Vanarama National League favourites Forest Green Rovers and will hope to play part in a successful season for the club.
