Slough Town have signed Slough-born Dan Roberts on a one-year contract after an excellent pre-season campaign.

‘Robbo’ has come back really hungry and has impressed in every game, the club say.

A post from the Rebels goes on to say:

Whilst at the back of last season we discussed with him the potential of dual-signing him to a Step 3 side, we also said he would get the opportunity to earn a place in the squad during pre-season, and it is fair to say that if it was not for his suspension, he would be starting a week today against Dorking Wanderers.

Obviously at 21 he still has a lot to learn, however if he shows the same desire and determination he will keep improving.

We can also announce that we have agreed with Scott Davies to return to the club, having left midway through last season.

Injuries and unavailability have left our squad stretched, and Scott was one of the first people we contacted knowing full well what he can do, and that he could slot straight back in, which he showed today.
