Graham Fenton, manager of EBAC Northern League club North Shields has announced details of a charity bike ride that he is taking on.
The former Blackburn Rovers and Aston Villa star is undertaking a 220 mile ride to raise money for the CLIC Sargent charity.
Fenton explained the challenge that lies in wait and spoke about why the challenge meant so much to him.
“This Thursday myself and 5 friends are setting off on a 220 mile bike ride to Chester.
“We are trying to raise money for a charity called CLIC Sargent who helped the family of a close friend when their 8 year old daughter was diagnosed with cancer last year.
“Their help and support has been invaluable for Katie and the rest of the family during the past 12 months. Please consider supporting this worthwhile cause. Any donations would be hugely appreciated. Many thanks, Graham Fenton”
