Cheltenham Town have announced that midfielder Asa Hall is set to join Vanarama National League side York City on loan.

The two clubs have agreed a deal, with the move expected to be confirmed on Friday morning.

Hall will meet two familiar faces in the Minstermen squad.

He joins Robins team mates Daniel Parslow and Amari Morgan-Smith on loan at Bootham Crescent.

Should the deal go through on Friday morning, Hall could make his York City debut in the FA Trophy quarter final against Brackley Town on Saturday.

Speaking to the Robins official website Gary Johnson commented “After an injury to one of their midfielders, Gary Mills (York manager) called me and enquired about Asa. I spoke to Asa and we both agreed that it would be beneficial for him to be playing regularly at the moment.”
