Woking have confirmed that Matt Robinson has re-joined the club on a loan from League Two side Luton Town for the remainder of the season.

The 21-year-old midfielder started his career as a youth player at Leicester City, joining Luton in 2012.

He spent a month on loan at Grimsby Town earlier this season and then joined Woking for the first time in October, making fourteen appearances before returning to Kenilworth Road.

The loan will be extended should Woking make the play-offs.

Woking have also signed former Fulham defender or midfielder Alex Smith.

The 24-year-old left Craven Cottage after eleven seasons, and some loan spells away with Leyton Orient and Stevenage, to sign for Swindon Town in 2013 but was released at the end of his one-year contract after making just eight appearances.

He signed for Yeovil Town in November 2014 and played six times before being released at the end of last season.
