Dorchester Town boss Leigh Robinson believes the Magpies needed more “urgency” in the final stages of their 2-1 defeat to Weston-super-Mare at the Clayson Stadium.
Magpies’ forward Tom Bath equalised with his 19th goal of the season following Chris Knowles’ opener, before Mike Symons scored just before half-time for the Seagulls.
While Dorchester proved solid to set up a grandstand finish, Robinson felt the hosts were guilty of hesitating when searching for an all-important equaliser.
Defeat means Robinson is yet to claim a point from seven league games at the helm, while Dorchester have not won in 18 BetVictor Southern Premier South matches.
Speaking post-match, Robinson said: “It was frustrating more than disappointing because it was a close game, it could easily have gone either way or ended in a draw.
“There weren’t that many chances, but it’s (not) doing vital things at vital times that’s cost us the chance of getting points again.”
