Jim Rollo admitted Bath City need to up their finishing habits after they drew a blank for the fourth straight home game.
That goalless effort allowed Weston-super-Mare to claim the points in Boxing Day’s Somerset derby, with Gethyn Hill and a Dan Ball own goal late in the day sending the Romans to a first league defeat in seven games. “When you look at our goal difference, we know the goals have been a little bit hard to come by here,” assistant manager Rollo said. “A few weeks ago we were on a good run and teams were coming here to try and stifle us, get men behind the ball and we have to work really hard to try and create.
“We created quite a few chances today, Weston certainly didn’t have that in their gameplan. We did carve open a few chances, we just didn’t take them.”
