Gainsborough Trinity have announced the signing of experienced striker Ross Hannah.

It marks a return to the club after over a decade away for the 32-year-old, who recently left Chester FC by mutual consent, along with midfielder Kingsley James. The signing of the former Bradford City striker is an especially attention-grabbing one for Trinity, given their relegation to the Evo-Stik Premier at the end of last season and the fact that Hannah was scoring goals in the National League in 2017/18.

Hannah adds further depth and quality to a fearsome attack, with boss Lee Sinnott also able to choose from Ashley Worsfold, Alex Simmons and new signing Damian Reeves.
