Worksop Town chairman Pete Whitehead has shared his satisfaction at Craig Rouse being given the manager’s job at Pontefract Collieries.

Rouse has left his role as Worksop assistant manager to take the reins, and like manager Craig Parry, chairman Whitehead was full of praise for him:

He told the club’s website: “Although Craig has only been with us for a short while, I have known him for many years and always thought that one day he would become a ‘number one’.

“He has worked tirelessly since his arrival, and on behalf of everyone at the club, we would like to thank him for his efforts and wish him all the very best in his new position as manager of Pontefract Collieries Football Club.”
