Tranmere Rovers manager Gary Brabin says he is thinking about making changes to his team ahead of this evening’s game against York City.

Injury to Connor Jennings means that the manager is forced into making at least one brabinchange but he says he is looking for more from his players after Saturday’s disappointment against Lincoln City.

He told Tranmere Player: “Connor will be out for around a month or so. He offers us something different so it’s a big loss for us.

“I’m forced to make at least one change with Connor’s injury but we’ll see about any more than that.

“I have made my feelings clear to players who I feel I need more from and we’re always demanding more from each other.

“The players have set their own standards and they have to maintain that.”

The manager added that it is good that the team have chance to put Saturday’s game behind them quickly with a midweek game.

“It’s certainly good to have a game soon after a disappointment. It would have been a long week had we not had this game coming up.

“There is still a lot of belief there. We need to go back to doing what we do well and if we do that then I think we’re a real force.”
