Micky Mellon says he and his Tranmere Rovers team will be doing all they can to get a positive result from the FA Trophy first round tie against Wrexham.
With the added spice of a local cross-border derby, the manager says that he’s in a positive frame of mind ahead of the game.
He told Tranmere PlayerHD: “The FA Trophy game is the next game so the most important game to us because we want to keep winning games and progressing things.
“We’re going into every game positively and keep trying to improve things as we go along.
“One thing for certain is that we want to go to Wrexham and try to win. We’ll be picking a team that we believe can go down there and give us a good chance to win the game, because at Tranmere Rovers, we want to win every game we are involved in.
“So I’ll be expecting us to give a good account of ourselves, no matter who plays.”
