Andy Mangan proved to be the difference on Saturday afternoon as his two goals gave Tranmere Rovers all three points against Torquay United.
Mangan struck a goal in each half as the forward got his first goals since returning to Prenton Park earlier this month.
He told Tranmere PlayerHD: “I’m relieved more than anything after a few chances that I’ve missed in the past couple of games.
“But for those two to go in today and for them to be important goals for the team, I’m really happy.
“It was a great win but it probably should have been out of sight and that’s the only thing I’m a bit disappointed about that I didn’t put any more chances.”
