Gary Brabin says that Tranmere Rovers are in a great position to reach the end of season promotion play-offs.

The 1-0 away victory at Torquay United last Saturday, which extended the unbeaten run on the road to 11 matches, kept Tranmere in 5th in the National League, three points trfcabove 6th placed Braintree Town.

But the manager is not getting carried away and says there is a lot of hard work still to do if his side are to achieve their goal of promotion back into the Football League.

He said: “We have been quite level headed knowing that there will be lots of twists and turns along the way.

“We’re going into the last three games and it’s in our hands to get into the play-offs which is a great position to be in.

“We’re looking forward to the next game on Saturday.

“It’s all about getting consistency and I think overall, we’ve seen an improvement in that since Christmas.

“Our form since Christmas has been really good and we’ve got a good chance going into the last three games.”
