Tranmere Rovers club captain Steven Jennings is pleased that James Wallace has joined the Club on a permanent basis.
The 25-year-old completed a permanent move to Prenton Park last weekend after spending five weeks on loan from Sheffield United.
Captain Jennings says that his quality can only be a benefit to Micky Mellon’s squad as we look to push for promotion back into the English Football League.
He told Tranmere PlayerHD: “James Wallace is a fantastic signing for us. It’s great news, he’s a great lad and on his day, he’s easily a Championship quality player.
“He’s had a lot of injuries which have caught him up a bit, but now he just needs to play football.
“He is a very good player and we just need to keep him fit to gain the benefits of his quality.”
