Gary Brabin says that his Tranmere Rovers squad still have belief they will make a play-off position at the end of the season.

Tranmere travel to Torquay United for this weekend’s game and the manager says they trfcneed to put last weekend behind them.

He told Tranmere Player: “We haven’t lost any belief. We knew there were going to be lots of twists and turns. The main disappointment from last week was how we performed and the manner in which we got beat.

“We need to perform to the best of our ability and I know we will win more than we lose. We need to go into every game with a positive attitude and first and foremost, we need to perform well and if we have that winning mentality which we have, then I think we have every chance of making the play-offs.”

The Gulls’ form has picked up in recent weeks, inccluding two wins in their last two matches against Gateshead and Chester.

Brabin says that his team will need to put in a good performance to get the victory at the Launa Windows Stadium.

He added: “On Saturday, we’re going up against another former League club who didn’t have a great start to the season but they’ve got out of the bottom four and are in a bit of good form at the moment.

“It’ll be another tough game for us, as they all are, but it’s a challenge for us and one we need to rise to and get the right performance and right result.”
