Rushall Olympic prospect Eesa Sawyers has pen to paper on a senior contract.
Having impressed for the Under-21s earlier this season, he has been given an opportunity to show what he can do on the first-team stage, and has grabbed it with both hands.
“The lad has come out of nowhere,” admitted manager Liam McDonald. “It’s a great credit to the work of the Under-21 staff that he has made so much progress.”
“He is a player that really excites me; he has all the attributes needed, and credit to him, because he has been able to step up and break into the first-team squad amidst all of the attacking talent that we already have here. He’s a bundle of energy and I can see no reason why he can’t go on and establish a regular place in the team.”
