Rushall Olympic have signed full-back Tyler Lyttle.
The 21 year-old has been on trial at a Football League club during the summer and turned down the advances of numerous local clubs to be part of things at Dales Lane.
“He is the best attacking full-back that I saw last season,” said manager Liam McDonald. “I have kept my eye on him since then and I am delighted that he has chosen to join us.
“There were certainly plenty of good offers on the table for him, one in particular from a local club that blew us out of the water financially, but he sees a better future with us, an environment where he can develop and thrive.
“It not only shows what he is all about but it also shows that we are building something special here that players want to be part of.
“I am delighted to have him on board.”
Lyttle, who is the son of former West Bromwich Albion and Nottingham Forest favourite, Des Lyttle, signed his first professional contract with Bristol Rovers in the summer of 2015.
He has served the likes of Nuneaton Town and Truro City on loan before joining Stafford Rangers in March 2017. He has also turned out for the likes of Hednesford Town and Sutton Coldfield Town.
