Salisbury manager Steve Claridge has moved to sign goalkeeper Charlie Searle
With the squad down to just one keeper in Nathan Ball due to a lingering groin injury to Gareth Barfoot, Steve has signed Searle, who has also been with Fareham Town this season, on dual registration from Havant and Waterlooville.
Charlie is a graduate of the Havant and Waterlooville academy who has appeared in Conference South. He is eligible for this Sunday’s FA Vase tie at AFC Dunstable.
“Charlie comes highly recommended and we all saw what he could do when he came to the Ray Mac with Fareham,” said Steve.
“He may have conceded six but everyone in the ground agreed that if it wasn’t for him and the saves he made, it would have been a lot more.”
