Salisbury FC have made a donation of around £1000 to the Salisbury District Hospital Stars Appeal during the current COVID-19 pandemic.
With the customary ‘fines fund’ throughout the season, a squad might ordinarily use the money for an end-of-season trip. With this obviously not possible during the pandemic, Salisbury’s players have used the roughly £600 to put towards the hospital donation.
A further £200 has come from the players personally, organised by Aaron Dawson, while chairman Jim Ayres has agreed to £200 being put in by the club.
