Salisbury FC have annonuced the appointment of Amanda Newbery as acting chief executive until the end of the season.

Amanda, the co-owner of The Chapel, will be familiar to Whites’ supporters having been Stadium Manager with the old Salisbury City club and for her work on an off for the last 10 years around both the previous and the new club.

Having worked as an adviser to the board of directors so far this season, Amanda now assumes day-to-day responsibility for the administration of the club in all off-field areas, from commercial to logistical, in conjunction with the board.

“Amanda is an exceptionally capable individual who has a wealth of experience of the club,” said Chairman Dave Phillips. “We are delighted that she has agreed to take on this role.”

“I’ve always done my best to help the club in any way I could,” added Amanda. “I see this as an extension of my role in helping to progress the club and get it back to where we all want it.”
