After completing a one-month loan spell at Mangotsfield United, Forest Green Rovers youngster Olly Mehew has joined their Southern League South & West Division rivals Salisbury on loan.

The 18-year-old will spend a month with the Whites having played against them for Mangotsfield just a fortnight ago.

Salisbury are managed by former Portsmouth and Birmingham City striker Steve Claridge, and are currently 5th in their division.

Signed in the summer from Bristol Rovers, the young forward will make Salisbury the third different Southern League club he’s represented, having also spent time at Shortwood United last season.

He is expected to make his debut this weekend when Salisbury host Bideford at the Raymond McEnhill Stadium.
