Following an injury to goalkeeper Marcus Beauchamp which threatens to keep him out of action for the whole season, Salisbury have signed highly recommended 20-year-old Jake Hallett, who has recently been released by Norwich City.

Hallett was raised in Southampton and recruited into their Academy ranks after being scouted by the Saints, but ended up at Norwich, where he signed a two-year pro deal in 2016.

In pre-season, Hallett had trials with Aldershot Town and Maidstone United.

It is expected that he will be available for next Saturday’s home game against Dorchester Town.
